Environmental Services
The complexity of environmental legislation has created need for professional environmental services for real estate transfers and development. LOR has conducted literally hundreds of site assessments for financial institutions, insurance companies, attorneys, and developers. LOR's environmental site assessments are designed to evaluate the likelihood of on-site hazardous materials and, therefore, reduce the liability from real estate transfers.
LOR can also perform soil and groundwater sampling and monitoring programs to characterize the potential of contamination at a site. LOR's environmental personnel are experienced in performing underground storage tank investigations, as well as providing project management/oversight of removal and closures. We have successfully negotiated the regulatory jungle on behalf of our clients to assure a timely and cost-effective remediation program.

Construction Testing and Laboratory Services
Our services do not end with site evaluation and design. Complete quality control testing and inspection services are also available during grading and construction. LOR's technicians are trained to provide testing and field observation services on a wide variety of projects. Behind each field technician is the support of professional engineers and geologists to provide timely on-site solution to construction problems if they arise. All of our field and laboratory technicians are Caltrans certified.
